Angelo Tramountanis

SHORT CV
Angelo Tramountanis is an applied researcher at the National Centre for Social Research (EKKE) in Athens, Greece. He teaches the core course "Forced Migration" in the postgraduate program "MSc in Media and Refugee / Migration Flow" at the University of Athens. He is an evaluator for the AMIF (Asylum Migration and Integration Fund) and has coordinated and participated in a number of research projects related to migration. He recently coordinated the Greek team in the international program "Social Protection Responses to Forced Displacement," funded by the World Bank. His main academic interests concern migration and refugee policy, social integration of migrants and refugees, the politicization and securitization of migration, and the impact of science and technology in migration and border governance. He has published on Greek migration and refugee policy, migrant and refugee integration, migrant entrepreneurship, second-generation migrants, and humanitarian assistance to refugees and asylum seekers in Greece.
