Human rights and immigrants: Human Rights and Immigrants: Institutionalization and defense in Greece

This Report includes the results of a literature review on the issue of the integration of third-country nationals in the Member States of the European Union in the Mediterranean. The first part includes the conceptual identification and evaluation of Good Practices for the social integration of TCNs. The second part concerns innovation in terms of definitions, policies and fields of implementation of the policies for the social inclusion of TCNs in the Mediterranean countries. The third part deals with the institutional framework of migration at supranational, national and local level, with an emphasis on integration issues. The fourth part concerns Human Rights in relation to immigrants, their institutionalization and their advocacy in Greece. The fifth part contains the general principles of immigration policy in Greece. The last part includes observations on gender and migration.
