Report for the project “Research on different characteristics of epidemiology of addiction between immigrants and Greek drug users”

This report presents the results of the relevant research on the differences in the epidemiological characteristics of immigrants and Greek drug users. The report includes: 1) the review of Greek, European and international literature; 2) the recording of best practices from international and Greek experience; 3) a description of the current situation regarding drug prevention and treatment programs for drug users; 4) results of quantitative field research using a questionnaire for immigrant users, 5) results of qualitative field research by conducting individual interviews with therapeutic personnel in drug treatment institutions, 6) a comparative presentation of the results of quantitative and qualitative research.
