Generative AI Greece 2030: The possible futures of Productive AI in Greece

This study represents the first empirical research approach to strategic foresight for the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) in Greece. Conducted in the fall of 2023 by the National Centre for Social Research (EKKE) and the National Centre for Scientific Research "Demokritos" (NCSR "D"), with the support of the Special Secretariat for Long-Term Planning, the study highlights trends, opportunities, challenges, uncertainties, and potential pathways shaping the future of the GAI ecosystem in the country.

It provides a framework of proposed strategic initiatives and policy recommendations. The primary goal is to draw upon collective knowledge and foresight insights from experts and specialists regarding the impact of the domestic Generative Artificial Intelligence ecosystem, with a time horizon extending to 2030.
