Dealing with the crisis of confidence in political institutions

The article presents through a series of research findings (Eurobarometer, European Social Survey, etc.) the increasing distancing of citizens from the procedures of representation and the general lack of trust of the Greeks in institutions such as politicians, political parties, as well as the national and the European Parliament. Trust in institutions is a variable for the quality of democracy. The research data imprint a progressive crisis of the political system.
