FDI politics in Greece: policy-making and social structures of political institutions

The report presents the key methodological choices and results of the field research conducted within the framework of Work Package (WP4) of the SOCINVEST project. The focus of WP4 is the social background of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) attraction policies in Greece, with an emphasis on the legislation on Strategic Investments and the establishment of the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF). The main goal of WP4 is to study how the social characteristics (education, professional background, political experience, etc.) of political-administrative actors influence the policy-making and implementation processes in the field of FDI.
