Data collection methods using electronic questionnaire and survey methodology Management of online, face-to-face and telephone surveys and data with Limesurvey and SPSS

The goal of this book is to capture the rigorous methodological processes required for conducting large and medium-scale quantitative research using electronic structured questionnaires and electronic case management, as well as probabilistic sampling methods for face-to-face, telephone, and online surveys. In this context, the book also aims to outline the research processes required for the completion of master's theses and doctoral dissertations, while adapting to the standards and rigor necessary for medium- or large-scale research projects. The book consists of eleven chapters in total.

In the first chapter, the phases and stages followed for implementing a quantitative research study are explained through a detailed flowchart. The second chapter introduces the data collection methods for face-to-face, mail, telephone, and online surveys. The third chapter addresses the third phase of the flowchart, focusing on research design, which culminates in the development of the questionnaire and the conduct of a pilot study to assess the validity and reliability of the research tool.

The fourth chapter discusses the creation of the questionnaire in Limesurvey. The fifth chapter presents the sampling methods. The sixth chapter introduces the electronic management systems for the sample and the research professionals for each data collection method. The seventh chapter covers data collection and the management of the sample and professionals in the field.

The eighth chapter focuses on data checks, while the ninth chapter provides a concise guide to statistical analysis in SPSS based on recommended statistical methods. The tenth chapter addresses the procedures for depositing data and research documentation in repositories that allow secondary collection and analysis by third parties. Finally, the eleventh and concluding chapter refers to the completion of collection methods in mixed data collection strategies and provides examples of large surveys conducted using such methods.
