This collaboration will result in the creation of a new cartographic background that will "address" a traditional issue of Greek census and demographic data, which is the inability to connect and properly map them. The existence of this background could also help other research teams at EKKE working on this important period of history (1941-1945) to correctly map their work, while simultaneously making their data comparable to contemporary data through simple processes of spatial analysis.
