The European Social Policy Network (ESPN) supports the European Commission by providing independent expertise, information, and evaluations of significant national developments related to social protection and inclusion policies, long-term healthcare, and pensions for Greece.

The project involves collecting, processing, and analyzing relevant data and information, as well as producing a series of thematic and evaluation reports for the European Commission's relevant departments.

Specifically, for the year 2018–2019, the project includes:

1. Three thematic reports:
   a) "In-Work Poverty,"
   b) "Financing the Social Protection System," and
   c) "Housing Exclusion and Homelessness."
2. At least two “Flash Reports.”
3. One report for the European Semester.
4. An annual report on social policy developments and the social situation in Greece, updated once during the contractual year.
