EKKE’s Participation: The National Centre for Social Research (EKKE) contributes to the "National Network for Climate Change and its Impacts".
Objectives of this flagship initiative:
- Integration and Optimization: Unify, harmonize, and enhance existing climate services and early warning systems for natural disasters linked to climate change.
- Scientific Excellence: Develop a core of scientific expertise to generate new knowledge on climate change and its impacts.
- Advisory Role: Establish an interdisciplinary consortium to serve as the primary advisory body for the state and citizens on climate change issues and its repercussions.
