The project studies the emergence of sociology of culture in Greece since the mid-1970s till today. The project focuses on publications (books, articles), teaching (university departments, courses), research programs and academic trajectories which are associated to the sociological study of culture in Greece. The project analyses the particular dynamics of this scientific field and their relations with broader social conditions .
