The project focuses on new types of data, such as social media data or new types of data that are being processed by the research community. The focus of this work will be on NDT (e.g., social media data), as it has been continuously developing in recent years as a field of research, driven by the growing interest from researchers and the accumulation of such data. The project consists of two distinct but interconnected modules. The first module is a survey directed at the research community, investigating their needs regarding access to and use of these data. The second module addresses the needs for training the staff of Service Providers in the use and potential development of appropriate tools for managing such data, as well as the terms of use. This second module also involves the National Centre for Social Research (EKKE).
